About Charlotte

From early passions to global inspirations

My artistic journey began in childhood, a constant urge to draw and create. At 21, I co-founded a portrait and commissioned art business, a first step into the professional art world. My travels led me to Australia, Asia and New Zealand, where I spent six wonderful years. There, I facilitated art workshops and forest school days for children, painted large-scale murals for businesses and communities, and sold artwork inspired by the local landscapes. These diverse experiences have continually shaped my evolving style.

Inspired by the heart of tuscany

Now based in the luxurious historical villa, Borgo Belsedere, in Tuscany, my art is deeply infused with the beauty of my surroundings. The stark contrast to New Zealand's landscape, architecture, and Italian flora has ignited a new fascination. I find immense joy in studying the region's beautiful architecture, its crumbling stone walls, and rich history. Every corner here tells a story, making it clear why this land has nurtured so many famous artists and remains a cultural hub for the arts. I am currently in a beautiful discovery stage, preparing for my first-ever solo exhibition here at Belsedere later this year.

Embracing diverse creativity and freedom

Through my art, workshops, and creative experiences, I aim to share my deep love for being a creative human. My message is simple: you don't need to limit yourself to one art form; embrace your many facets and explore diverse ways of being creative. I also wish to share my love of nature, capturing its beauty in landscapes, and to allow children the freedom to express their inner artist without the pressure of perfection, fostering true uninhibited creativity.
